December 21, 2009 – Today a kindergarten class at Pewaukee Lake Elementary School had Eric, Mary, Mike, and Larry Hisle over for Christmas carols, cookies, and story time. Their teacher, Lindsay Draeger, has been a great friend and a strong supporter of our cause. She and the children saw Eric on the news and wanted to make a difference. Over the last several months, the students have been “doing chores” for their parents to raise money for LIFE. One student’s family gave $20 for every touchdown the Packers scored over the past month. As Eric arrived, some children in the room noticed Eric standing in the hall and began to shout his name in excitement. Later on, Eric read to them the story of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! All of the kids were super cute, it was an absolutely adorable and very touching experience. They raised a total of $800, an astounding amount. 100% of it will be put directly into the LIFE account which will be put towards a positive cause in the future; whether that be helping out another local family, or giving it to a cancer research lab. Thank you so much!!
