The last couple of days have been pretty lax. I still can’t seem to get rid of these headaches and now I am having some pretty extreme back pain. I am guessing the back pain is caused from sleeping funny or maybe the fact that I haven’t moved much in the past two weeks. I’d like to be able to get up and walk a couple miles every day around the unit, but the headaches pretty much keep my ass in bed
I’ve had a couple of guests pop in as well. The other day a good friend of mine, Nathan and his girlfriend Larissa, stopped in to visit. I was pretty out of it when they showed up. I was on morphine and other pain killers so I was half asleep. I felt bad after they left because I wish I had been a little more hostly to their visit. It was great seeing Nathan and Larissa and they looked very good.
I also had a classmate visit. Aaron and his friend Eric came by to talk for awhile. Aaron was in the same program at Whitewater with me (Management Computer Systems). He worked with my on a project for the Green Bay Packers for about a year starting in January of 2007 all the way through December of 2007. He’s a very bright guy and a good friend as well. I was very happy to see him and glad he came by.
Other than that, things have been a bit low key. This back pain is near unbearable though. I think I’d pay $1000 for a professional massage at this point. The headaches seem to be tapering off a bit and now I am just getting ready for the next bone marrow biopsy on Wednesday. Steve and Lindsey are going to be getting tested tomorrow to see if they are matches for a bone marrow transplant.
Lastly, I’d just like to congratulate the greatest football team in the nation, the Green Bay Packers. And also, the Cowboys losing put a big smile on my face (Hi Jimmy!). I’m looking forward to the Giants coming to Green Bay this coming weekend for the NFC Championship….GO PACK!
Good night everyone!
Eric
