Nearly 4 months ago in January, Sebastian Dragan Dima contacted L.I.F.E. offering his support to race in the 2011 Florida Half Ironman wearing our colors and raising money for the cause. On Sunday May 15, 2011 – Sebastian successfully finished in his first Half Ironman with a time of 7:19:09 and raised $750 in the process! He didn’t just race for Eric that day, but also his mother who tragically passed away just over 20 years ago from cancer. In his own words, “it is to be able to honor my mother’s life and total dedication to my happiness and well-being. Since she passed away… I felt that it’s only natural I would dedicate this Half Iron Man to her!”.
As a plug for his company, Sebastian runs a limo service out of the Chicago area called LIMO ANGEL. They provide top-notch, prompt and fair priced limousine services + great customer support = a combination that can’t be beat! If you’re ever in the area and want to ride in style, give them a call. Way to go Sebastian! And thanks again for all of the support!
