It’s been awhile since a blog appeared, so I’ll try to get it all in one.
July 16th, we had our one year anniversary, and then Eric’s birthday the next day! Our friends families all went over to Eric’s parents house to celebrater with us. A couple days after that, we were on a plane to Outer Banks North Carolina, courtesy of one of Eric’s dad’s best friends. He’s got a very nice place, and when he’s not looking, I’m going to just move in!
We got home and the next day Mary took Eric in to the ER. (I swear, everytime him and I travel, things don’t go well with us!) They sent him home, and we went back to see his Doctor for his normal check up. We found out that tomorrow, Monday August 5th, Eric will be getting Mylotarg, which is a targeted action chemo that goes after only the “bad cells.” He hasn’t had a biopsy or a lumbar puncture in awhile, but we do know that his blood work looks great, that’s a good sign!
Eric and I both remain hopeful that this will work, and even if it only works for a little while, we hope that it works long enough for something new to come out.  We remain hopeful that something’s got to work.
Ive been told by many many many people that the first year of marriage is the hardest. Well, then I’d say we have some pretty easy years coming our way!
Thanks for all of your love and support!!
