Hey Everyone,

It’s been a crazy couple days around here.  Saturday Eric went to the hospital because he had gotten a fever the night before.  They sent us home after a couple rounds of saline.

Sunday Morning I was at my parents getting ready to go over to Eric’s house and got a nasty headache, which led to my right side going numb which then landed me in the Emergency Room.  I have to say, I wanted Eric there more than anything but wasn’t about to ask him to come show up, knowing full well that if he caught something in an ER it would be my fault.  My mom took me.  I was laying on my side and for some reason turned over, and there was Eric.  Didn’t even have to ask him to come.  Hey just showed up.  He somehow convinced his dad to drive him there. Brian and my mom waited in the waiting room for awhile.  Eric told me to take a nap and joined them.  As soon as I woke up, Eric came back in again.  You should have seen us.  We were both walking slowly, looking like zombies coming out of that room.  But it was VERY sweet that he came to visit me.

Fast Forward to Monday.  Eric’s mom picked me up at my parent’s house and we took Eric in for a routine check up.  His doctor admitted him to the hospital.  (This is where I’m supposed to give a shout out to 4nw, the wing Eric was supposed to be on, but we got moved to 4nt instead.  I promised them a shout out, so here it is!!!!!!!) We’re still not sure what’s causing the fevers, but his FINAL results from his biopsy showed no sign of leukemia. (AWESOME!!!!!)

Larry came by that night to visit, and I could feel my head starting to hurt again.  Larry hung out with us for quite a bit.  When he left Eric was flat out sleeping, and there was no waking him up.  I had no idea what to do, and my head was spinning, and my right side was starting to go numb again.  I walked down to Froedtert’s ER to find out it was a 4 hour wait.  I called Aurora’s ER to find out it was just as long, so I checked myself into Froedtert, and stayed there until they finally called my name at 11:56 pm.  Finally at 4:30 they said I could go, and sent me on my way with some narcotics just in case the headache would come back.  After the stuff they gave me, I’m surprised that I got to my room OK.

Erics had a long day.  We were both up until about 5 am trying to figure out what was happening with me, his mom came down, my dad came down, Larry stopped in, and the whole time, Eric who’s sick, was concerned with how I was feeling.  I have the best husband ever.

Dr. Hari did come in today and tell him we have a match who’s going to be starting the donation process (There’s a lot of paper work, and doctor’s exams and such) So Eric needs to get better quick so we can get this moving, and I can have my husband healthy!

Thanks again everyone for your awesome support!
