Inspired by the extraordinary, a friend of L.I.F.E.'s has partnered up in attempts to shatter the record for most jumps in 24 hours and for a great cause! If you're in the Tennessee area and want to cheer him on, we'll see you out there. Whether you are able to attend or not, please take a moment to RSVP "Yes" support Travis and support patients and families affected by cancer and donate!
The exact date will be weather dependent, in order to successfully jump out of an airplane 300 times in one day, conditions need to be just right. As one follower puts it, "this is one jump every 4.8 minutes for 24 hours straight?". To which Travis replied, "Wheels up to wheels up should be right around 4 minutes. We will play with exit altitude but will jump from no lower than 2000’"
The Leukemia Ironman Fundraiser for Eric (L.I.F.E.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to cancer survivorship by providing assistance to cancer patients in need, scholarship programs, and donating to cancer research laboratories. We will help draw awareness and contribute towards finding more effective treatments, and one day, a cure.
L.I.F.E. has been helping other patients and organizations in this way since our foundation began shortly after Eric's diagnosis in 2003. To see a full list of those we've helped, click on the L.I.F.E. Gives Back link here or in the menu above.
