Eric and Cari, thank you for showing us all how living and loving really looks like. Like most, I've just seen the story and even though there may not be another video or blog entry we all can tell that you will continue to make the most out of every single second. I'm certain your strength and positive attitude has made a much bigger impact than you'll ever know and it will carry on long after you and I leave this world through the lives you've touched. Your road to get where you are has been rough and rugged, but you're at the top of the hill now with the love of a lifetime and a great support circle. My prayers are with you and them as you soak up life with every minute you are given.

Is the first time I visit this page. I saw the page when I enter the internet today. You are a very brave young man, as I saw in thepictures today. I pray that He stay with you and your family in this dificult times. But I want to tell you that all of us, that accept Christ as our Savior, when is our time to leave this world we will leave it with the everlasting hope of a new earth and new heavens. I don't know if you believe in the Bible, the word of God, but I want to share with you this words. "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will thy come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people;
The sound of weeping and crying will be heard in it no more." Isaiah 65: 17-19.
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am". John 14: 1-3.
"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying - Now the dewlling of God is with men, and He will live with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
That is the everlasting hope that we all should have. Take care and think about the beautiful world that God is preparing for all of us that believe in him. God bless you and your family. I will be praying for you.

Hi Eric, I just watched your video, I am so sad for you and your family. I did not get the impression that you know where you will spend eternity? Think of that ETERNITY. This is not the end for you. You will spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. There is a God, creator of all things, He has made a way for you to
be in His presence when you take your last breath. If you have a bible I hope you will read the book of John. The Bible says " For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ." We have all sinned against a holy God. But He made a way by sending his Son, Jesus Christ to take our punishment. We were not bought with Silver or Gold but by the precious blood from the Lamb of God. John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotton Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life. I pray that one day I will meet you there.

I have been following your journey for about a year now and I just want to say you are truly an inspiration. You have touched the lives of countless people - including mine. Your spirit will forever be here on this Earth, rest assured of that. I am in absolute awe of your strength and compassion. Your doctor was right when he told you that you WON this battle. You won, Eric. God bless.

A strength, not your own...
I saw your story for the 1st time today (The Final) and I was so touched. And even more so after reading some of Cari's blogs and seeing how the two of you have stayed so optimistic and encouraging to others during your fight. I wish you both the BEST, you are both AMAZING and have inspired me SO much!
I've had breast cancer myself but can only imagine how you and your family feel after battling this for so many years... I know you're tired but PLEASE don't give up.
I've sent an email to Cari, since it's the only direct email I've seen. I pray you two will read it. I'm wishing you well!

May God Bless You
None of us can truly know what you have experienced. With the news that you have reached the final leg of your journey at such a young age, I can only say that you have blessed those around you and the world in ways that will never cease. You stand as a testament to strength, courage, and hope to all those who are in pain and suffering. The strength you and your family has demonstrated is beyond measure. I don't know how religious you are, but you can be assured that God has prepared a place for you in Heaven where pain, suffering, and fear have no meaning or effect. Those who have been touched by your life will miss you dearly, but can find comfort in the knowledge that you all will be reunited one day, in the company of all of Heaven. May God continue to Bless you and your family for as long as your journey continues and forever more. You will not be forgotten.

You are an amazing person
My heart absolutely weeps for you. Everything in my life is trivialized compared to the what you are going through and the strength you have is awe inspiring. The fact that you have used this horrible ordeal to teach and help so many people shows how strong of a person you truly are. You will always be remembered and anytime I take things for granted I will think of you and treasure each and every thing the way you have. At 28 you have lived a more heroic life than I could ever imagine. God bless you.

I saw your final blog and had to say how moving it was and the incredible strength you have displayed. Your courage is an inspiration to so many people. You have accomplished more in your life than most by achieving one very important accomplishment. You touched others with your journey and left the world a better place. I strongly believe God has smiled upon you and you will never be alone. may God bless you and your family

I came across your you final video today and I am sorry to say it is the first I have heard of your story...your hard journey.
I am feeling emotional just reading your story. I can't imagine what you must be feeling right now...in addition to so much physical pain. There is nothing fair about this...nothing I can so to make it any easier. You do not sound at all ready to move on...such a fighter.
The only thing I can share with you that might help ease your fear a bit is my personal experience after my dad's death. Weeks later I was I was feelign sad and missing him. I was lying in bed unable to sleep. I found myself talking to him...and asking for a sign he was alright.
At that moment the new cell phone I had just gotten, lit up. I picked it up and hit a button, but instead of hitting phone messages I accidently hit picture messages. A picture of a heart with wings popped up.
I am not religious but I am convinced my father found a way to get a message to me and let me know he was in a good place.
I hope you find yourself in a wonderful place, free of pain and full of love.
