Tennessee State Record Attempt for Sienna Howe

Travis Hinton

Travis Hinton

Sienna Howe

On June 6th, 2019, Travis Hinton will be jumping out of planes for 24 hours straight, which will also help 20 year old cancer patient Sienna Howe through the L.I.F.E. organization!  To donate directly towards her treatment, please click the link below.  100% of all donations raised for the event will be given directly to Sienna, and are tax-deductible.

Inspired by the extraordinary, a friend of L.I.F.E.'s has partnered up in attempts to shatter the record for most jumps in 24 hours and for a great cause!  On June 6th, 2019 (weather permitting) at an airfield in Tullahoma, TN, US Army Sergeant Travis Hinton will be jumpining out of planes non-stop to help benefit Sienna Howe.  Sienna is a 20 year old woman from Tennessee currently being treated with chemotherapy and radiation for her recently diagnosed nasopharyngeal carcinoma in Nashville. According to her mother Julie, Sienna has had to withdraw from college this spring, leave her job, and relocate to Nashville for her daily treatments.  Please consider a donation, no matter how small.

Though Travis is aiming for June 6th, the exact date will be weather dependent, in order to successfully jump out of an airplane 300 times in one day, conditions need to be just right. As one follower puts it, "this is one jump every 4.8 minutes for 24 hours straight?". To which Travis replied, "Wheels up to wheels up should be right around 4 minutes. We will play with exit altitude but will jump from no lower than 2000 feet".

Sienna's mother Julie, her younger sister, her social worker from the cancer center, and Eric's siblings Lindsey and Mike, all plan to be there.

If you know anyone willing to help sponsor or volunteer for this event, please contact us.

Thank you!

  • The reason that these years have been the best is that I think that I might have had a somewhat positive impact on your lives and perhaps your understanding of what cancer is and what it can do, to both those of us that it has personally attacked and those of us who know someone who is going through it. -Eric McLean
